Andhra Christian Theological College
Established in 1964
Andhra Christian Theological College began on July 1, 1964 as an ecumenical vision of the churches in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is an affiliated institution of the Serampore College (University). American Baptist International Ministries supports this college and its effort to develop quality pastors and theological educators for churches in India.
The total number of students during the academic year of 2008-2009 is 232. Among them, 25 students are Telugu Baptists sponsored by American Baptist International Ministries. The college focuses on practical training on evangelism, preaching and pastoral skills. It also encourages advance theological study, and continuing education of pastors and lay leaders through the external study program.
